This November, in recognition of Islamophobia Awareness Month, we are pleased to announce that we’ll be hosting a training session in collaboration with Stop Hate UK. Stop Hate UK is a leading national organisation working to challenge all forms of Hate Crime and discrimination operating since 1995!
This session will focus on understanding and addressing Islamophobia/Anti-Muslim hate, providing valuable insights and tools to foster a more inclusive environment for everyone. The session will be tailored to fostering agency staff, foster carers and will have an emphasis on culturally and religiously informed care for Muslim children in foster care.
This training aims to raise awareness about Islamophobia, challenge stereotypes, and equip us with practical strategies to support our community and each other. Participation is highly encouraged, as it aligns with our commitment to diversity, inclusivity and mutual respect.
